Celebrity Spotter is an app for the iPhone that allows fans to track where their favorite celebrities have been spotted. I was responsible for the information architecture and design. NOTE: This app is still in development. More images to come.
The Fab Facts tab on the girl’s profile page displays an interface where users can find out more about the girl she clicked on… from her favorite foods to her dream date, the design was driven by the need for flexibility, expandability and ease of use.
In the spring of 2008, Mattel launched a site for the parents of Barbie Girls users. Parents’ Place offers tools for parents that allow them to control their daughter’s access to less restrictive play, manage their memberships and accounts, and access information on how to monitor safety on the web.
I played a key role in bringing the Club Beauty Makeover game to life. The concept was born in the desire to build an activity in which girls can give each other makeovers. Within the Club Beauty location, a girl can click on another girl and offer to give her a new look.
An interactive CD demo disk which showcases the software though video and screen simulations. I designed the interface and art directed the video content. I also created and manipulated key artwork for the demo in 3D Studio Max.
The Barbie Girls world is powered by a proprietary Java-based MMOC (massive multiplayer online community) technology platform and displayed with a Flash/Actionscript front end. I art directed key locations, such as the Purple Parlor, the Sparkle Coaster Place and the Tail Shakin’ Treehouse.
